About Exor
Exor was established in 1997 to provide an efficient, outsourced supply chain service to
Public and Private Sector Organisations. The service encompassed all categories of
expenditure with all types of suppliers, ranging from Sole Traders to FTSE 100 companies.
Exors supply chain programme is specifically designed to enable organisations to best meet
targets and obligations in the areas of efficiency, economic development, regeneration and
procurement risk management in line with key Central Government initiatives.
This experience has allowed Exor to develop an extensive understanding of the unique
aspects of the Public Sector efficiency and procurement agenda and has enabled the
development of a unique, world class spend analysis methodology and process. The ability
to claim ‘best of breed’ status is underpinned by exclusive access to the UK's most up to
date business and consumer databases through a partnership with Experian, the global leader
in the provision of third party business information services.
To date, Exor has undertaken spend analysis for over 100 Organisations, providing a state
of the art analysis resource encompassing in excess of £20bn annual expenditure with more
than 800,000 individual entities.
The Exor methodology and creation of the Exorforce reporting platform enables a rapid and
accurate execution of large scale analysis projects. As spend analysis is becoming better
recognised and adopted by Public Sector Organisations Exor have up-scaled corporate
resources to meet the forecasted analysis demand for 2006/7 and beyond.
To assist the operation of effective procurement, Exor have developed and evolved an
electronic Procurement and Supplier Selection (ePASS) solution, a unique online user
friendly programme providing completely up-to-date validated information of suppliers and
contractors. With ePASS the client can rapidly select approved companies to quote or tender
for the supply of goods and services.
The financial stability and growth of the Company was secured early in 2003 with the
multi-million pound strategic investment by Barclays Ventures, the Venture Capital
investment arm of Barclays Bank. This investment provides Exor with the necessary capital
to develop the infrastructure and technology necessary to service the entire UK Public
Sector and beyond.
