Hardboard Panels
|
Hardboard, also called high density fibreboard, is an engineered wood product. It is similar
to Chipboard and MDF, but is denser, much stronger and harder because it is made out of
exploded wood fibres that have been highly compressed. It differs from chipboard in that
the bonding of the wood fibres requires no additional materials, although resin is often
added. Unlike chipboard, it will not split or crack. It is used in construction and furniture.
It is advisable to wear a dust mask when cutting this material in a confined space.
Available in sheet size 2440mm x 1220mm.
